Morayfield Shopping Centre, with popular retail shops and familiar big-box stores in Queensland, needed to increase family foot traffic during Easter. Morayfield Shopping Centre was looking to raise its profile during the key Easter campaign period. The activation needed to draw community interest, increase both their foot traffic and their social media profile.
The activation consisted of a roving photographer with the Easter Bunny as well as 1 day of green screen activation. Additionally, a hashtag Facebook contest was conducted to increase the number of followers. Customers had their photographs taken in the Green Screen Booth with the Easter Bunny free of charge. These images were emailed to them and printed on site to take home. The images were also uploaded to Morayfield Facebook page with the most "liked" image winning one of five $200 Morayfield gift vouchers.
